Mercy in Shakespeare’s “Merchant of Venice”
The Goethe Institut Ljubjana will accompany a philosophy seminar by Prof. Dr. Mladen Dolar, Prof. Dr. Joseph Vogl, and Dr. Samo Tomšič with an essay booklet “Psyhopatologija politicno-ekonomskega vsakdana” in Slovenian and in German. Bochert Translations translated an essay DIE ART DER GNADE WEISS VON KEINEM ZWANG on the nature of mercy in Shakespeare’s Merchant of Venice by Prof. Dr. Dolar into German.

Auf der Flucht: Kinder spurlos verschwunden
For the French-German TV network ARTE, German production company Lavafilm produced a documentary on unaccompanied children and young adults who fled to Europe. Bochert Translations accompanied the production with transcription, synopsis, translation, and subtitling of the Arabic and Farsi language portions in the film.

Brönner & Gorman
After a privileged personal tour through Greg Gorman‘s Berlin exhibition, great German jazz trumpet musician Till Brönner wrote an impressed introduction to the American photographer’s new photo book Private Works. The translation was accomplished by Bochert Translations.
THE URBAN SACRED
On 27 February, the exhibition THE URBAN SACRED opened at Kunstmuseum Bochum and will be shown there until 03 April, before moving on to London, Berlin, and Amsterdam.
The exhibition is part of a research project led by PhD Dr. Susanne Lanwerd (Freie Universität Berlin) entitled ICONIC RELIGION.
The bilingual exhibition catalogue (Metropol-Verlag) presents compelling essays on architecture and religion. The German translations of the English originals were done by Bochert Translations.
Theaterformen 2015
The Theaterformen festival at Theater Braunschweig published the 2015 essays around the event on their website. After 13 April, this year’s essays around Theaterformen 2016 will appear in Bochert Translations’ German translation.
