In the futuristic world of the play AGNUS by Ise Lyfe and Matt Werner, there are officially no more prisons on the north American continent. Instead, Agnus Eli is held as a suspect in a secret prison on a boat offshore after the unsolved murder of the governor of California. The play tells the story of assessor Richard and his attempts to understand the mysterious character of Agnus and the murder. Needless to say, everything turns out completely different in the end.
The play was translated from English into German by Henning Bochert and will be rehearsed and presented at a prison in June 2021.
